How to easily fix this kite

To prevent the kite from nose diving, simply add a pair of tails to the rear fenders (see photo). I bought pink plastic ribbon from Revain ($1.49). Then I cut out two 10 foot strips and attached them to the rear fenders with clear tape. Do not use ordinary household tape - it will not withstand strong winds. Do not use staples - they break in strong winds.
