Just received this kit to add to my sewing kit. I bought this specifically to thread ribbons through the mask's channels. Used large safety pins and they got stuck and pierced the fabric. I tried using a bar in this set but the tension ring was too big for my canals and got stuck. Used a different metal tool. Don't know what to call it (see photo) and it worked great! This literally saves me hours when I'm finishing masks! I also like the variety of tools in this set. I will be using large plastic pants to thread flat elastics into my headbands and can't wait to make drawstring pajama bottoms for my 4 year old. A long tool makes it easier for you!
