These spools try to be standard class 15 spools but there is a defect in the shape so they don't fit, judging by the reviews and even advertising (if you read between the lines) on some machines. Including mine. The problem is that everything inside is too small on one side. Correction: I just pricked each coil with a 6mm drill bit (1/4" would probably be just as good or even better) and they all work fine. The whole box took about 5 minutes. So, as delivered: terrible. Corrected: good. The box is actually unusually good for a bobbin case as the foam bobbin holders can reduce the amount of tangled thread that most bobbin boxes have. I don't know if the thread is good or not. With a simple tear strength test in hand, everything seems fine. My car? Elna, probably in the mid-1950s. It appears to be a Japanese Necchi copy from around 1954.
