Unwanted grinding of cloth-insulated wires, poorly designed volume/pause controls

Loud noises are carried by cloth-insulated wires, which absorb every sound of every article of clothing they come into contact with or any limb they bump into strengthen . - very annoying! Those sounds of fabric wires scratching your clothes are louder than any music you listen to and you can forget about listening to oral content like audio books. You won't be able to concentrate because of all those loud bangs and grinding "sound effects". When wearing these headphones I'm afraid to move my head or even change my position as it causes a barrage of loud noise that easily drowns out anything I'm trying to hear through the headphones. This is very disappointing as these headphones appear to be of good quality for the most part. It seems to be a trend that some headphone manufacturers insulate the wires with fabric - and that may be more durable, but it creates a lot of additional unwanted "sound effects". I tried a set of regular (no air tube, no EMI reduction) headphones made with cloth insulated wires and they had the exact same problem, so it's not the air tubes, it's the cloth insulation. Other air-tube (EMF-reducing) headphones I've tried with traditional rubber-insulated electrical cords don't have this problem. Another pretty big issue with these headphones is the volume and pause buttons on these Defendershield headphones. They are very narrow buttons located on a round, cylindrical controller that rotates in your hand when you try to press a button, making pressing each button very difficult. If the cylinder rotates even slightly, the button is not pressed. In contrast, Apple's volume/pause controls on headphones are much better designed and easier to press since you're pressing on a flat surface. Adjusting the volume or pausing playback on these DefenderShield headphones is like trying to hit a moving target.
