The background is not as muted as I would like and I wish the mic could be placed closer to the mouth for more control over voice volume. Otherwise this is a good headset. The pillows are the best! I have a medium sized head (at least I think so) and didn't need to lengthen the ear cups at all. The materials are REALLY strong so there is very little chance of it breaking like the one being replaced. If you want your headset to last, this is for you. The cable is very durable, with attention to detail on the connectors and the volume control. I am impressed so far and use the headset every day for work.
