The stool arrived just in time. Assembled it feels solid and looks good, especially considering the price. The assembly was very straight forward. There aren't that many goods and they are easy to identify from the description and pictures. My only complaint is why do assembly furniture manufacturers insist on using hex head screws? Why not a pan or Phillips head? The supplied Allen key is sufficient. It just doesn't always hold up well when turning. Be patient when screwing. Another pair of hands helps a lot. I understand why it would be desirable to have a ratchet when assembling this stool. There are very tight places to work in and the Allen key must be used as a ratchet. A lot of patience is required here. Assembly took about 1/2 hour and we both worked on the stool. The screws are difficult to tighten once it's done, but it's GOOD. For a strong bowel movement, they must be firm.
