So I just received the bag today so this is my first impression. First, the image on the Revain site is not true. This bag looks and feels great, very classy. All the features it has are amazing. I am adding many photos so if you are interested in this bag you can see all the storage compartments. You can hide the straps and turn it into a suitcase style. It also comes with a rain cover which will come in handy should you need it (image is black with a gray line). The shoulder strap has 2 pockets for maps or small items. You shouldn't have any trouble fitting a 17 inch laptop. My current easement for this type of bag is great for a weekend getaway or a nice 10 day trip. I see that it also uses a tech pocket when you're taking photos or recording videos. As I have just received the bag I would like to give myself 2 weeks to see if I have any problems. If you don't reply within 2 weeks it means I haven't had any problems and I look forward to more products from this company in the future.
