I made a good choice.
I am learning how to use speech recognition on my computer. I bought this mic and thought the cord length was great, the mic sits well on my computer desk and I love the mute button. This microphone is very responsive. I connected it to a 7 port USB hub that has an on/off switch on each port. When I turn it off the window says "OFF" and when I turn it on the default mic is either "listening" or "sleeping" depending on where it was when it was turned off. This makes it very convenient that it is practically not always on, and there is no need to plug and unplug the cable. I know I made a good choice. - Bobby Blue
