They work great, they have enough light on the license plate! I soldered the OEM wire from my original lights so it could connect to the truck. The sizes were much larger than the oval factory placement on my 99 foot Dodge Ram so I zipped them up so I had to shorten the truck, but I will be using them on a trailer once I get the correct truck wiring harness have. Completely replace factory originals
