I have to revise my assessment: shocking, literally right in your ear. Not just a couple, but all. They usually work for about a week before they start having problems. The idea is good but the overall design is lame. I've never owned a pair of headphones that generated static electricity to shock me. The people I talk to on the phone complain that they can't hear me even with the mic almost in my mouth. Not worth the price. They should be reduced to $5 a set.
