Review on Tent extreme triple Tramp PEAK 3 V2, green by Franciszka Frank ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I would definitely recommend the purchase, I don't think there is anything wrong with it.

I took it as a tent under the stove for autumn / winter routes for 2 people. According to the results of several trips in October-November - only positive impressions.

Pros
  • The tent is two-layer all-weather - there is a short skirt around the perimeter and an inner tent made of solid fabric. excellent ventilation from the top of the tent with access from the inside (significantly less condensation). Quite a reliable and well-thought-out design - two intersecting arcs + the third forms two vestibules. Can be set up as standalone. Withstood stormy gusts of wind with dignity. Ripstop fabric on the outer and inner tent, impregnation 8000 mm on top and 10,000 on the bottom (I set it up a couple of times in the beginning of November in heavy rain, almost in a puddle - there are no hints of bottom or awning leakage). I liked the fittings - there are aluminum plates on the hinges for attaching the arches, and durable frost-resistant plastic on the hooks for attaching the inner tent. Storm guy lines made of rope with a retroreflective, have slotted stops at the top (adjustment on the awning and not at the peg) and elastic loops for attaching them in a twisted position on the awning - they will not tangle and are always ready to go. Convenient standard bag for a tent in the form of a herme with drawstrings. There is a large shelf under the ceiling for drying things, a bunch of pockets around the perimeter. The two entrances of the inner tent can be opened almost completely and are stored in pockets. There is enough space for three adults on a summer/autumn/spring hike. For winter hiking with a stove, it is perfect for two people - even two folding beds stand inside + a stove in the vestibule if necessary. Weight 3.5-4 kg (dry/wet)
Cons
  • The third arc of the vestibules is 1 cm long and does not go into the pocket. This is not important, of course, but you can shorten it, or fix it with Velcro. The color of the pegs is gray metallic - can be lost in grass or snow. Save the loops from the light return cord (included).
