We have several cats and the kittens love it. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is that it's pretty unstable. If you put it against a wall or mount it on a wall, it is sure to be much more stable. Or attach a better base to it. We saved money by buying this over other very expensive cat towers. So the kittens are happy with that. This will work until I'm willing to spend over $100 for a multi-level tree. Although I paid less than $51 for mine. This gives them plenty of playtime and entertainment. All in all I say why not. Just be aware that if you have a cat butt, drop it and jump up like I did, it could fall over. The cats agree. And if they are not happy, nobody is happy. Great for a cheaper tower. :)
