Reception seems on par with other mobile antennas I've used, but broadband is what I bought it for. SWR below 2:1 in all declared ranges PLUS range of 220 - I didn't expect that! I have yet to try this on the 220 band, but my antenna registered less than 1.5:1 SWR over the entire band. The GMRS repeater frequencies (467.xxx) are a little over 2:1 SWR but it isn't advertised to broadcast in that band so I can't fault it. It seems strong enough, but I'll probably add an extra spring section to keep it from bending when I'm cutting branches etc. I will add an update after making better use of it.
