These little guys performed better than expected on my first Mylar bagged 'vacuum' food packaging. When in doubt, I used two absorbent bags for larger bags. After a few days, I checked my results and saw that the mylar bag was firmly attached to its contents. I took the extra step of placing an extra absorbent bag inside the main airtight container. Less oxygen is unintentionally available, and a slight negative pressure is created inside. I also have unused packages that need a suitable storage container. I use a sealed jar with a liner.
