Used to replace six hotter than Hades halogen bulbs in overhead hanging rails. I'm a fan of "warm" halogen lights in general, and these "bright whites" (listed as 3000K) are very clearly "whiter" than the light. But not in an uncomfortable way. (They strike me as a little "whiter" than 3000K to be honest, but I'm sure I'll adapt.) It's a nice clean light with a medium point throw. I have a light on a dimmer compatible with LEDs. As already mentioned, their dimming range is not as wide as that of halogens; At about half power, they simply switch off. But they usually dim in this range with the right dimmer. Out of the box, one of the six lightbulbs would start flashing like a disco light when the brightness was below this level, but it would glow normally at full power. I contacted Revain and instead of sending back the entire kit for one bulb they said they would send me a new box without having to return the old ones which is much appreciated. If they hold up, it's a good deal. If, like me, you hate swapping GU10 bulbs into lights where you can't grab them from the outside edge (the fault of some lights, not bulbs, but still), I'm glad they last a very long time. .
