Yes, I'm happy with the Topping D0 MQA DAC. I use it for standard Tidal PCM and MQA. What I particularly noticed was an increase in the clarity and smoothness of the frequency response. Surprised that the performance on the RCA outputs was noticeably better than the balanced XLR outputs! In general, the best sound performance is obtained with balanced outputs. I used the same Cardas AudioIridium model with RCA and XLR cables and was surprised by the result. I noticed that the output voltage characteristics were higher for RCA than for XLR, which may account for the noticeably louder RCA outputs. Overall I'm happy as I used an Audioquest Dragonfly Red USB to USB DAC and an older PS AudioDigital Link III. DAC for other sources. The differences are small, but noticeable or moderate. I use USB, coaxial and optical connections with significantly better performance on my Oppo BDP-95CD player with optical D90 connector. Someday I hope to get DSD footage. and check Topping D90 MQA DAC performance with these sources! I will also connect my cell phone via the Bluetooth input and use this port as well.
