I really like this product! Before the purchase I had one of those old devices where I first had to press the button on the back of the device to open the grip, then close the grip with my hand and then connect the charging cable to the bottom of the phone. This new and improved product does everything I need and makes the process so easy. I just get in the car, slip my device into the auto open grip and it starts charging right away. When I get out of the car, I say "car charger, open" and it releases my phone, so I can easily get out of the car without unplugging the charger and manually pressing a button on the cradle to free my phone. Thank you for making my everyday life a little easier!
