I have two computers with six monitors on my desk. I have a complex GIS workstation and often need to have multiple windows open at the same time. To accommodate the new 32-inch monitor, I once had to raise my 27-inch ASUS PB278Q monitors. With no wall in close proximity, this monitor had to be carried on a pole mount 18 inches above the tabletop. I was impressed with the durability of this setup as soon as I opened the box. There's nothing flimsy about her. . Every element is thought through to the smallest detail so that nothing fails. Even the parts are individually boxed and labeled, and all the tools are included. Assembly was easy and the Asus monitor was up and running in about 15 minutes. Please note that this 27 inch monitor hangs as a cantilever on the side of a mast, completely out of the mast's vertical position. I used the clamp mount option as I didn't see the need to drill a large hole in my desktop. Just make sure you really tighten the mounting clamp to ensure the bar stands upright. If your desktop is thin, add a piece of wood to spread the load. Very easy. It's rare to see a product like this made in China - well made and worth every penny. Too bad it's not made in the USA. This is the only downside. Maybe one day we'll wake up.
