The photo has a nice raised edge. It would be great. Our little dog, like many others, loves to put his head on the edge. But the bed we got has no real benefit. There's a few inches of stitching all the way around, but no extra padding to form a real edge. The second problem is that it was heavily compressed in the shrink-wrapped packaging, presumably to reduce shipping costs. We're tired of spinning the bed in the dryer to smooth out wrinkles and fluff it upβto no avail. The bed is crumpled, flat and unattractive.
