The good news is that this product is actually completely ineffective. Bad news: My husband and I both had to stop using it, very reluctantly, because it was killing our armpits. We went through three sticks before making the difficult decision to abandon this wonderful product. Great at first, just a miracle cure, but after the first few weeks after the first use, we both felt swelling and a pinkish-red rash accompanied by what appeared to be bruises under the armpits, which were very tender and inflamed. I'm not necessarily blaming the product; I think some people are more sensitive to ingredients than others and I don't think it's a birth defect of the formula or that the company is using anything dangerous. It's worth a try for beginners because it's the most effective natural formula I've found. I think it's worth trying a few different natural brands as regular antiperspirant/deodorant has some really nasty stuff in it that you shouldn't be putting into your body. I will also say that after years of using a regular antiperspirant I noticed that I was starting to sweat. more and more, which was very unlike me as I don't even sweat much so I increased it to clinical strength just to keep it in check. After switching to natural deodorant for several months, I no longer even wear deodorant. I'm almost convinced that traditional antiperspirants actually created the problem they were designed to solve. So if you're like me, maybe you can use this stuff long enough to detoxify your body from more aggressive products (armpit detox, google it) and then ditch every product. One complaint about the packaging - I think the inner dispenser on all three sticks (ordered at different times) fell apart or the deodorant fell out at the end of the tube, resulting in us awkwardly trying to use the disembodied piece underneath ours Arms or push it back in and keep it perfectly perpendicular/parallel to the floor so it doesn't fall out again. It would be great if they understood that.
