08' JK, Doesn't fit, Had to send back, Shame

I've seen these handrails before and always thought they would be a great addition to my '08 JK. were delivered today. I opened the box, quickly read the one-page instructions, and started putting them on. It looked like 5 min work. I start by removing the factory screws (1 next to the visor and 1 on the stacker). The factory bolts you remove to replace aftermarket bolts are countersunk so the bolt is automatically centered and they are very strong bolts. The aftermarket bolts you supplied do not have countersink threads and one of the bolts had the leading edge of the first thread flattened causing the threads to cross. This is poor quality and a by-product of mass production. I had to clean it with a file before it would shrink. Centering the bolt, handrail and spacer so the bolt goes in the hole next to the rear sight was a nightmare, but I was able to pull it off. Top Alan loosened the bolt as directed in the instructions and began aligning the bolt, handle, and spacer in the hole on the stack. I fought with him for over an hour and couldn't line up the bolt. The angle was wrong and the bolt tried to tip over several times. I finally took it apart and started measuring and looking at the corners. The hole in the handle itself is almost 1/4 inch too low, preventing the handle from mounting. I would love to use these pens and wanted to show them to my family this weekend but unfortunately I have no choice but to come back then. I would give these handrails a zero rating if I could. Save yourself the hassle, spend a few bucks more and buy a quality product. Sincerely disappointed
