So my kids are grown but I have a 5 pound miniature poodle and toys have been known to have tooth decay. So I've been brushing his little teeth since I've had him. I used a kid's toothbrush, but it was too big (about 3/4 the size of an adult toothbrush) and not soft enough for his small gums. He fought our "cleaning session" every night! When I was looking for a really soft brush in a smaller size, I came across this three-sided toothbrush and ordered it. Perfect! I don't have to go back and forth in my dog's mouth to get to each side of his teeth, it's about half the length of an adult toothbrush so choke-free and super soft! The first time we used it my dog was stunned! I was in and out in no time. Now it's not something we're scared of at night, and it doesn't seem to hurt his gums or hit his back mouth. I think if it works for his little mouth it must be great for baby's first teeth so I'm stocking up on these to give to baby! I'm just saying.
