I was a bit skeptical that an inexpensive coffee maker of a brand I had never heard of could make a delicious cup of hot coffee. Damn, I was pleasantly surprised. This little kettle brews strong coffee without a hint of bitterness and keeps it hot for as long as it takes if you don't drink it all day. The controls are simply laid out and the bright digital clock is visible without squinting. Another plus is its relatively small footprint, which takes up less countertop space, and the unit is surprisingly light, making it easy to move in and out of a cupboard. All in all, after having used and thrown away almost every major brand coffee maker that costs at least twice as much, I've finally found one that does what it advertises. The actual test will take place in 6 months to see if it still works.
