Review on Oregon 42 031 Small Engine Tester by Gary Newman
Doesn't work for tools and equipment
So, my big mistake. Didn't try it right away. I bought it based on numerous good reviews. After the purchase I have NOT tried this tester. Guilty. About 9 months later I am fixing several engines. I suspected something was wrong when all had no spark. Much to my embarrassment and anger, the tester had no continuity between the probes. After spending many hours trying to find no spark, I ended up with a bad tester. Completely out of warranty I cannot recommend this tester. It seems to have item to item quality. Dissatisfied
