Better than the original charger because it doesn't have a tiny cable. However, the cable is permanently attached, so if you need more than 3 feet you will find that splicing is required. Fits on a bedside table or short dresser with an outlet nearby, but it would be nice if the cord was detachable so you just have to buy a longer USB cord. It's not really affecting me right now as it's on my desk next to my dock so I haven't even removed the zip tie. better.1. It compresses Fitbit. Not in a bad way, and it's not necessarily hard to get in or out, but it would be nice if they could just hold the Fitbit in place with magnetism instead of friction. I think it would be a lot easier to ensure the contacts are properly aligned for charging.2. The place where the Fitbit sits on the charger is slightly off-axis. Obviously it's angled towards you so you can see the dial while it's charging (*sort of), but mine is also angled a bit to the left. I'm sure I could fix this by brute force and bending the metal to correct the mis-bevel, but I didn't have to.3. Maybe it's some kind of setting, and of course I don't think it's the charging dock, but the Fitbit screen turns off while docked. It kind of defeats the purpose of tilting so you can see it when you can't see it because the screen is off. Finally, it charges my Fitbit Charge 4 by holding it at an angle that allows me to see the screen easily (if it was on). It has a nice, attractive finish, just enough weight to avoid tipping over slightly, but it could be bent more precisely to ensure it doesn't tip over in the Z-axis. The charging cable should be long enough. for most, although for some this may be a limitation and not easily replaced as it is plugged in and not a separate USB cable. Loads fast enough. I haven't measured it or factory chargers for comparison, but never felt like waiting for it, so it's fast enough for me.
