I'd probably give 3-1/2 stars if I could, but since that's not an option I'll round to 4 set up. For 12V batteries it sets the maximum voltage to 14.4V and then controls the current by reducing it when the current drops. However, LFP batteries require 3.65V per cell, which means you need 14.6V to fully charge. When I charge my 12V LFP battery, the max voltage never exceeds 13.2V (according to the DVM), which definitely indicates that I'm not seeing a full charge (13.4). According to my estimates, that's probably only 80% of the charge. I assume this is the result of the BMS system for the battery. On the other hand, it has the ability to charge both 15A and 24V. If you're looking for that flexibility and don't care about optimizing your LFP batteries, then that's fine. The alligator clips are actually soldered to the cables, which I haven't seen, the wires to the alligator clips appear to be 14 gauge - not bad, but not great either.
