I bought two sets for the holidays (Christmas, Valentine's Day and Patriotic Holidays). Simple cute cotton napkins. I use kitchen towels to quickly clean up spills, but if necessary you can machine wash them on a cold cycle but do not tumble dry or they will shrink. Lay horizontally or hang from a string. A quick swipe with a steam iron after drying will make them look new again. I have a blue set and learned how to take care of her with this set. Some have shrunk from being tumble dried.
