Portable and powerful, good size compared to Power

After watching many YouTube reviews and learning how solar panels work and how they provide power, I settled on this 60w panel to match my Rockpals 300w panel . I threw between 100w and 60w. I was guaranteed to get 60 watts before the trip, plus I liked that it was smaller and cheaper. So I went with 60W. Yes, 100w will charge faster (especially since the Rockpals 300w can now I think take 72w from the sun) but I don't plan on using a ton of power from my Rockpals 300w every day. I am very satisfied with the size 60W. I don't know if I want to release something with big panels now because I don't plan on using it excessively. I hooked it up to my Rockpals 300W at the beach in the hot sun and got 42W. Recently they increased their solar power consumption to 72 watts I believe. I also connected the portable power supply directly to the solar panel. It's great, so I have a small charged battery to take with me in a small tent or in my bag. This gives the panel such versatility for charging multiple devices. I love that it has a cable storage pocket! I plugged in a lightning cable so it was always ready to charge our phone. The sun was setting and still charging my power pack with very little solar energy. Maybe someday I'll get 100 watts, but I'm not sure I'll need it unless I sink my rockpals too low every day. Also, I like the smaller and more portable 60W compared to the 100W. When the technology comes and 100W gets to the size of 60W, maybe I can upgrade it.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
