Review on Audio Technica AT VM95C Moving Turntable Cartridge by Chip Palmer

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Yes, do it for electronic music, DJs and karaoke

I was having weird internal groove distortion and hissing with the original at95e that came with my At-LP120 and it all sounded a little worse. I've seen it swing in the groove. Maybe the needle just wore out, I don't know. So I bought it to replace the original. If you don't like the conical pin as much as the elliptical, buy it. Sounds better than at95e so far. It is worth replacing the cartridge. I set WTF and Anti-Akat to 2 grams. No more wobbling. Everything I played sounded as it should, or at least as I expected. I'm happy.
