I prefer biodegradable bin liners, but that's not always an option. These drawstring bags are made of polyethylene (PE), a non-biodegradable plastic. If you want or prefer compostable, biodegradable bags, grab a pass and order them. These are the little bags I sometimes use in my little bins around the house. Drawstring bags come in handy as I don't tie them by hand or use tie strings. Comparatively, the price for a roll is a bit high. These are not clear bags. So if you have items you don't want others to see, these are perfect. They don't seem that strong, but are actually suitable for light use. These are by no means flexible bags. They fit perfectly in my small recycling bin where there was room. The straight seam at the bottom ensures that as much dirt as possible can get into the bag.
