5 stars because it meets all my requirements. Pros: - Very easy to use and set up (thanks to Windows 10) - Extremely light - Reasonable price - Bright - Decent color reproduction - Decent resolution Cons: - HDMI is a bit short so you might have to buy a little longer, but I was able to get by. - VESA mounting screws are not included. $1 at my local hardware store so no big deal. - The viewing angle in portrait mode (rotated 90 degrees) is quite odd: half the screen seems brighter than the other, but not as noticeable or distracting for a super cheap second screen. - With the monitor mount I have, the screen is too light for the tension spring that raises and lowers the arm so it wants to go past the confirmation point. This only comes into play at the top of the arm movement, so again, no big deal. All in all, this is a good little monitor, especially considering the price. Time will tell if he survives. . I did notice a temporary flex in the connector plate when fitting it to my mount (where the HDMI and power connectors are), but it's fine now. For an extra monitor for coding, temperature monitoring while gaming, or something that puts YouTube on the background of what you're doing, I don't know if you can beat it for the price. Like I said, 5/5 stars because it's exactly what I want and was easy to set up. In terms of image quality and what it doesn't, this $80 monitor does a good job of what it's supposed to do. GG Scepter. or who does it.
