Super fast and always a good clone! I'm willing to give five stars for tech support because it's not necessary! Read the warnings, the case will burn your hand after you unplug it and let it cool for a minute. I didn't have to format or initialize a drive first, just mount it after cloning and expand it to a new size! I don't need to use this one plugged into the computer to clone ours as external, 1005 is worth the money for what it did for me backup and fill m.2 SSD operating system, I'll buy another one to make sure I always have one, I've used it on all sizes up to 2T.
