Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Enhance Gaming Experience with Nintendo Switch Split Pad Pro (Daemon X Machina Edition) - Officially Licensed By Nintendo! by Douglas Davis

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Exquisite product with targeted demographics.

If you want TL; DR is 9/10. I'll go into more detail below: Simply put, this is probably the best way to play portable on your device. There are some limitations: - No wireless functionality (I only play handheld mode on the Switch) - No rumble (I turn it off anyway) - No gyroscope controls (I don't use a gyroscope) - No amiibo support (I don't like amiibo ) I put my own prejudices higher, but I'm being honest. The missing features are not features that I used anyway. I wanted to get what it lacks as I don't even want to go into detail that I'm indifferent to these features. I can also tell you what's good about it: + Thumb sticks are a big improvement. They have more stroke and therefore offer more accuracy. + D-Pad is better than last year's HORI(L) controller. He's a little bigger. + Significantly improved face buttons. These are real buttons, not tiny dots used in Joy Cons. + Ergonomics (now I hate that word, but it's true) is better. They are wider and have a small handle. There are also some extra features, like a turbo function (useless most of the time, but it can turn semi-auto into full-auto if you're playing a shooter) and an assignment button. . Each side of the controller(s) has a back button that can be reassigned to a different button. Let's say you can assign dodge/run with the B button in Dark Souls, which means you can perform the above actions without taking your thumb off the stick. However, you can only place commands on this button. In the past, HORI had this mapping feature, but with many more options. It's not that strong here. The grips themselves could be a bit thicker in my opinion. But it's still an improvement no matter what in that aspect. Most of my (minor) issues with the product are not related to its lack of features. It's definitely the way to play on Switch. This covers the basics for just about any type of game depending on what it has to offer. Arcade/retro games, action, 3D adventures, first/third person shooters, etc. you name it. I gave them 5/5 because it indicates quality more than 4/5.

Pros
  • Big Grip, Buttons, Triggers, Analog Sticks and D-Pad
Cons
  • Little Stuff
