Review on ๐Ÿฉน Johnson & Johnson (Systagenix) ADAPTIC Non-Adhering Dressing - 3x3 - 50/Bx: Superior Wound Care Solution! by Jerome Pritchard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great, no scars, watch video tutorials on how to use Adaptic properly

Used according to directions I found online; combined with an antibiotic gel and wrapped with a layer of gauze (the first two days until the discharge has stopped), then wrapped with a self-adhesive medical film. Adaptic helped me heal quickly, cleanly and without scars from a severe skin tear I sustained from a friction wound. This product keeps the wound moist and protected during healing while minimizing the risk of the dressing sticking to the healing wound. . It doesn't stick by itself at all. Using an antibacterial gel will help ensure sufficient adhesion so you can wrap it with a layer of gauze and then tack-free, self-adhesive medical tape. I will use this combo in the future for any wounds where the plaster does not stick well. (My wound was at the base of my little finger, with gauze and a bandage on the wound the bandage stayed in place all day while the band-aid probably needed changing every few hours.) Gauze from my first aid kit Crate. For wrapping I used: FriCARE Self-Adhesive Non-Woven Dressing, Self-Adhesive Medical First Aid Dressing (with FDA), Home Hospital Grade, Athletic Tape, 2"/3"/4" x 5 yards IMO , Adaptic, Gauze and Bandage Self-adhesive non-woven bandages should not be missing in any first-aid kit.
