She said it was the best nonstick product

A nurse in the emergency room used this brand to help with a wound. She said it was the best nonstick product and she was right! Even brands advertised as "non-stick dressing" will stick if there's blood. This material seems to be much better than classic non-stick dressings. The slight price increase is quite justified.

Dried out and sticky to wounds

I had a very bad deep wound on my arm. I've tried 3 different petroleum jelly dressings and these were way worse. They were thin and dry, which made them stick to the wound. The other two brands were thicker and completely soaked in non-stick jelly so they didn't stick and it helped a lot with recovery. It's a waste of money and you can't get it back.

Pros
  • Excellent general performance
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Best Wound Healer!

My husband developed blisters on his lower leg after a total hip replacement due to poor circulation. I have used this product in the past to heal wounds with great success; That's why I ordered the product for my husband's foot! We've healed blisters with QD dressing changes, lifts, and bandages! His doctor told him to "hug that woman" as he looked at the healed wounds. I always have something at home for all healing problems.

Breakthrough in wound care

Therapeutic Degree. (4) and Gel, Bandage, Silvasorb, 3 oz tube from Medline [Beauty] for Healing Large Dandruff Underarms, 2" x 3". Always take them to the doctor's office and emergency room so they don't use traditional wound dressings, which would stick to…

Recommended by my doctor - works very well

my podiatrist recommended this product which he can mistakenly buy at a local pharmacy to cover surgical cuts on shoulder after surgical glue and sterile strips horrible allergic reaction with itching and blistering/weeping discharge. Since I couldn't find it at any local pharmacy (chain pharmacy or specialty pharmacy), I found it at Revain and got it the next day. These bandages covered a thin layer of Neosporin to keep the area moist while the blisters healed and they worked very well. I had…

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This is AWESOME! I have a fairly severe 2nd degree burn on my wrist/arm that requires a dressing change every 12 hours. In the hospital, they gave me the same "gauze" for the burn, but it only lasted a few days. When I went out I figured I could just buy some "non-stick" gauze at the local store. I was VERY wrong and the other gauze made the dressing change TERRIBLE with excruciating pain! No matter how much cream I smeared under the gauze, the rest stuck! So I frantically searched for Revain…

Works great, no scars, watch video tutorials on how to use Adaptic properly

Used according to directions I found online; combined with an antibiotic gel and wrapped with a layer of gauze (the first two days until the discharge has stopped), then wrapped with a self-adhesive medical film. Adaptic helped me heal quickly, cleanly and without scars from a severe skin tear I sustained from a friction wound. This product keeps the wound moist and protected during healing while minimizing the risk of the dressing sticking to the healing wound. . It doesn't stick by itself at…
