I'm feeling lucky? (updated)

After reading the reviews of this keyboard and case, one particular review convinced me it was a worthwhile investment. Since then I've been using this case and keyboard every day for over a month and went back to the internet to look for a better solution. I agree with other reviewers. The magnet on the case is not strong enough to hold the keyboard in place. The slightest push and he moves. And don't hold it like the picture, it will fall. And when the case is closed, the valve barely closes; The magnet just isn't strong enough. As with most things, it can be used as a stand and in 3 different angles (horizontal only). But don't move or hit it or your iPad will fall off. So annoying! The keyboard works well and the colors are pretty cool, but be aware that battery life is short when using the backlight. 3.10 hours at most for me. Usually up to 3 hours. As for the pen, without having it, I can't say anything. My review describes my experience of using it, which is rarely in a formal sitting position on a hard, straight surface like a desk or desk. I usually use my knees or pillow when curled up on the couch or bed and perhaps this product was only made for use in a normal work environment and needs to be sturdier for that use. UPDATE 9/12/19: I've contacted the seller's support and they're replacing the keyboard, so I've changed my rating from 2 stars to 3. If it's received and tested, I hope the next update deserves 5 stars. Thank you to the seller for reaching out and trying to make the buyer happy. UPDATE 11/13/19. Got a new set a few weeks ago and finally got to use the backlit keyboard for hours. This keyboard lasts longer; There are no complaints about the battery life. And the case remains closed. The keyboard still wraps around the case, but I've used it on a desktop surface and when you have a fully vertical screen the keyboard is more stable.

Pros
  • Hands-free
Cons
  • Good, but not great
