I liked this product. Now I'm sending my first one back and waiting for a replacement. The packaging is VERY good. I have had glass items shipped in smaller packaging. In addition, the appearance of the case was perfect. No scuffs, dents or other marks except glue residue on the underside. The problems started when I opened the case. At first it was upside down (oops) but that just meant that one of the wooden blocks that was supposed to be permanently attached had fallen out. A closer look reveals that the wooden blocks are only held in place by smaller strips of wood covered with black felt and poorly fastened staples. Smaller black wooden strips, which are covered with black felt, are used to separate the cubes. They aren't quite 90* which gives a weird look and makes me think they will probably fall out as well. Finally, the strip of thread used to draw the deck is NOT stapled at all, just threaded under pieces of wood. Also, there was only one lace stripe for all sections. The crappy box I received with my set of chips contained string for each deck and two sets of dice. Hull exterior: Amazing Hull interior: Substandard construction, needs renovation and poor design. This review is being revised. whether the replacement case should have better quality control.
