Review on Garden Life Vanilla Sprouted Probiotics by Jeremy Taylor

Revainrating 3 out of 5

slightly odd taste, blends well, good ingredients, 10 servings

I tried it because I already know and love many high-quality Garden of Life products. The ingredients look good and I thought it might be worth a try. I drink smoothies every day and I find them to be the perfect way to take a variety of supplements. Also, I rarely eat breakfast or lunch and drink smoothies instead. My gut just can't handle most foods, but smoothies are always easy to digest. However, I have a very physical job and need to load up. So I'm looking for a meal replacement powder (prefers a multi-ingredient formula, not just protein - and preferably not whey or soy, not because I'm vegan, but my body responds better to plant-based proteins without soy), and this has it piqued my interest. I also tried a few other vanilla protein powder formulas for comparison. They look almost the same with slight differences. I think everyone will do it. The flavor is a bit strange. No strong vanilla, and something strange is felt. Not unpleasant, but not what I would call tasty. I drink all sorts of drinks that most would consider awful, so if I think something tastes a little weird, there's something to it. I can drink it though, but it probably won't be ransom. I definitely don't just mix it with water. I use plant-based milk and a few other flavors (some good, some not so good). The overall flavor profile I like is that something has more of a natural, mild vanilla flavor. On the other hand, it masks other scents. I'm just surprised that no matter what I add, the flavor of it outweighs it. Overall quality seems good, variety of ingredients makes me feel like I have some much needed nutrients, protein content is high (good or bad depending on your needs), doesn't exactly reduce hunger pangs unless I throw in a few others Add filling ingredients.
