Update: Retevis have contacted me and will send me a new transceiver to replace the faulty one. They said that the customer service rep I worked with was new and didn't know how to properly help me. With that in mind, I'm changing my review to show that they actually honor their guarantee and got it right. If you need two radios I would recommend this. Cons: The transceivers work fairly well, but we have a faulty one in our group of 5. It didn't work right out of the box. It just happens the static. Revane will not come back for a new one. If I return the whole set and buy it again, I'll pay more because the price is about $30 more now than when I bought it. They have a one year manufacturer warranty but when I contacted Retevis they said they could not honor the warranty because I bought through Revain and not directly from them. Because of this policy I will not be buying from this company again in the future. It doesn't matter which retailer you bought your Retevis product from. So we only have four working transceivers. (See update above as Retevis got it right and sent us a new transceiver.) Pros: Good battery life and fast charge times. The reception range is also very good. On our 10 hectares we have good reception no matter how far apart we are. We bought them mainly because our phones don't have cellular coverage outside of our home (only WiFi). These transceivers allow us to communicate with each other when we otherwise could not.
