Finally I couldn't stand it anymore and tried LED bulbs. I bought different flavors to try. These T10 LED bulbs work best with my standard 11 watt wedge bulbs in my Malibu landscape lights. The color is almost the same as that of an incandescent lamp. Something white. But I could only notice next to a standard light bulb. The luminous flux corresponds to that of an 11W incandescent lamp. Nice and bright. Very even light thanks to plastic lenses. No dark spots or uneven light. It looks well made and easy to handle without breaking. All the other cheaper LED bulbs I've bought were about as bright as 3W and inferior in colour. The price obviously plays a role. These lamps really stood out. The Brightchoice LED bulb is pretty good at this price point. Same luminous flux and high quality. But I have to give the LED wholesalers a color advantage. They are about a month old and work perfectly. The lamps are not fixed like glass bulbs. There is no protrusion on the underside to fix the contacts. None of the five different LED bulbs did this. But they fit well. The pressure of the contacts was sufficient. They sit well in place. If the pins are badly worn or bent, there may be a fit issue. Now all my headlights are LED. Also, it was shipped almost immediately. Both orders came in within a day or two. Very happy.
