Replaced my old suitcase with a keychain
The 2009 Hyundai Elantra Touring has a similar factory body but not exactly the same size. The rubber buttons that the keychain sits on are a little more oval and a little looser, but they work when you close the case. In general, it helped when I pressed the buttons, the old rubber wore out, it helped for the moment, until the buttons on the board completely broke.
- Just an empty suitcase. Take the internal electronics (including the immobilizer/transponder chip) from your original remote control and place them in our key case and you're good to go! No programming required
