The material appears to feel durable and my daughter likes the purple. Unfortunately, she was disappointed when it arrived because it was too big. There's lots of straps, which she likes from the photo. However, allow some time to put it on. It would be helpful to visualize it in a picture of a child wearing it to get a sense of how it fits. Since my daughter likes it, we are going to keep it for her to grow into it. Then, we will have a more reliable review.
