Review on 🌬️ Carrier Air Purifier for Home Allergies | Filters Pet Dander, Dust, Pollen & Smoke | Reduces Odor | 360 Degree Filtration | Air Quality Sensor by Tina Ramirez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Carrier air purifier for allergy sufferers and rooms up to 400 sqm. ft.

For those who don't know, Carrier really did invent air conditioning! They've been making whole HVAC air purifiers for a while, but I think they're venturing into a smaller indoor model now. I should have gotten one. The product is very good. I have several air purifiers (Coway Mighty and 2 Blue Air 121, both of which I like). Installation: Installation was very easy. open the box Remove the cover/back and unfold the filter. Plug it back in and you're done. The unit comes with casters in case you want to install them so that it can roll. I did it and it was easy but it didn't roll on the carpet. The wheels are too small for that. However, it works well on hard surfaces. Operation: Simply switch on at the touch of a button. You have up to 18 fan speed levels to choose from, but I like to just hit "Auto" and have it automatically detect and adjust as needed. The LEDs are pleasant to the touch, letting you know how clean your current environment is. You can turn them off with a push of a button when you need to sleep. That's one of the main drawbacks of the Blue Air 121. The fan doesn't adjust itself automatically and there's no indicator to show how clean the air is at the moment. Both Carrier and Coway have this feature. Filters: Filters last 6-12 months depending on usage. Compared to Coway and Blue Air 121, it's about the same. What I like about the Blue Air compared to the Coway and Carrier is that the pre-filter is a bit easier to change. You just take it off, wash it and put on another one as there are 2 included with every purchase. On the Coway and this model, you will need to vacuum/clean the pre-filter. Not a big deal, but it will definitely take longer. Conclusion: To be honest, I like all three models. Each one is slightly different, but they all seem to be doing what they claim to be doing, which is cleaning the air. Coway is the cheapest, but also covers the smallest square meters. If I had to choose, I would choose Carrier. The reason for this is that the Blue Air does not have an auto-adjusting fan and no air quality indicator around the device. My final rating is 1) Carrier, 2) Blue Air 121, 3) Coway Mighty.
