Review on πŸ”Œ Cable Matters 2 Pack: Weather Resistant Cables for Durable Connectivity by Will Powers

Revainrating 1 out of 5

To update! - Plug-in units work like most others and can be packaged. - There is no way to wrap the wire around the rear screws!

The seller has contacted me to correct my order. Apparently my blocks could be faulty! The seller replaced my units and the new units arrived with the screws already protruding so all that was required was to connect the wires and tighten the screws. Like those bought elsewhere. Unlike most sockets, the only option for them is to insert the wire straight (plug) into the back and then tighten the screw - unfortunately the instructions aren't too clear as that's the 'only' option! Once removed, the bottom screw will NOT be reinstalled.

Pros
  • tamper-resistant GFCI outlet with security latches in AC outlets prevents accidental intrusion of foreign objects and conforms to residential building codes; GFCI outlets are required in kitchens and bathrooms and within 25 feet of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment to prevent electrical shock in moisture-prone areas.
Cons
