Review on Lenovo ThinkVision M14 Anti Glare Monitor, 1920X1080 Screen by Darrin Green

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Road Warrior Triple Mon Workstation

The positive feedback on the M14 is well deserved. They feel premium while being incredibly light and thin. Many reviews reduce the 300-nit brightness, but I found that I dimmed it the first time I turned it on. I find 300 nits too powerful when an app is still using a white theme/background. I was able to hook up (2) M14s to my 6th Gen Carbon X1. The monitors don't support daisy chaining, but using the 65W charger that came with the X1, I can power the M14 and M14 into the USB-C laptop, leaving the laptop's second USB-C for the second M14 remains free. This configuration was plug and play and I have seen the laptop charge successfully with this setup as well. No more worrying about leaving my desk in threes when I have to travel! The only thing that bothers me is the carrying case that comes with it. This is a soft case that protects screens from scratches, but nothing more. I'm concerned about only relying on them in my checked baggage considering how thin the monitors are. I would pay more for the hard shell version.
