Review on πŸ”Œ AV Access HDMI USB Extender(HDBaseT) KVM: Long-Range 4K 60Hz 1080p 120Hz Over Cat5e/6a, USB2.0 Ports, No Signal Loss, Low Latency by James Cabot

Revainrating 4 out of 5

No noticeable lag, great picture, loud 3.5mm audio, limited USB port

It can be noisy, but the main issue is the PC's heat. The picture quality is excellent, I didn't notice any delays. The 3.5mm audio jacks create enough interference to render them unusable for me, but that doesn't really matter to me since I can use HDMI for audio output and a USB sound card for the microphone. Interestingly, to a PC it looks like a 7th USB 2.0 hub and only supports 7 USB devices, but hubs do not count towards this 7 device limit and the PC does not know that a hub is connected. USB does not have the full speed of USB 2.0. It works great if you're using it with a keyboard and mouse, Bluetooth adapter, gamepad, microphone, or similar low-bandwidth devices, but don't expect high performance with high-bandwidth USB 2.0 devices. I was only able to transfer around 11Mbps with the USB Ethernet adapter, and the USB to HDMI adapter, which works well with the dedicated USB 2.0 AV access extender, struggled with that.
