Maybe it's just me good for sewing supplies and accessories
I bought it like this to mark the quilt with a quilt template. I felt it was a lot of work to make the lines visible but with product protection I've tried marking on light colored fabrics and have never had success with marking products (pencils or powder) so maybe you just don't use them correct.
