I love these glass storage containers from Bovado. Not only are they made of strong and heavy glass, but they are a fantastic deal compared to the other two well-known brands. Thick plastic lids that look and feel like they'll last a very long time. They fit snugly for an airtight seal. The bowls are made of thick, heavy glass, which should also be strong enough. While not oven safe, they are microwave, refrigerator, and freezer safe. They stack well with lids, which can save a lot of space in the refrigerator. However, they don't nest very much when stacked without lids. Each bowl fits into the other by just an inch. It would be much better if the sides of the shells were beveled so they could nest more completely. This reduces the height of the stack and allows the stack to fit between most closet shelves. ATTENTION! After washing and drying these bowls for the first time, I stacked them on top of each other. Then I discovered a big problem. I tried to separate the shells but I couldn't! I fucking dragged them but they refused to let each other go. Eventually my wife helped by holding onto one while I pulled on the other. It wasn't easy, but we were finally able to separate them. This was completely unacceptable and could even be dangerous. So I used a piece of paper towel between each bowl to make sure this NEVER happens again. Were it not for the minimal investment opportunity I would have given the set 4 stars. But due to the terrible problem of the shells sticking together like glue, I had to downgrade to 3 stars. It's really a shame, because otherwise these containers are great.
