Review on Apple Magic Keyboard 2021 with Touch ID Silver/White2 English by Jnis teins

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The quality was generally satisfied, there were minor shortcomings.

This keyboard is not one that I would suggest to anyone; in fact, you have to pay a high fee to get touch ID, and it just comes with a fake keyboard. If having a sensor is really going to be that crucial to you, then you don't have a choice but to have one. The following are some of the reasons why I believe that Apple should be ashamed of this product: 1) The sensations I get from it have something to do with electricity; moreover, it looks to be very light, which is a benefit; nevertheless, for some reason, I want it to be heavier; perhaps a different key material. It gives the impression of being a plaything when it is held in the hands. 2) The keycaps themselves are flat, in contrast to the keyboard on macbooks, which has slight indentations; for me personally, this makes typing on a macbook a more pleasurable experience. 3) This keyboard does not have any current functions at all; you cannot switch between devices (even between goods made by the same company), and the backlight that is found in macbooks is not there because it has been turned off completely. 4) The layout of the keys, particularly the arrow key, is really frustrating. The keys appear to be three enormous buttons, but with my MacBook Pro's M1 layout, they appear to be standard button layouts. 5) Charging via lightning rather than type C is also a waste of time (they cook or something like half of the devices on type c half on lightning, which, as is customary, leaves room for more functionality in the future). It is widely regarded as one of the quickest keyboards for typing and can also be used while connected to a cord. There is no doubt about the typing process itself. and bluetooth works without a hitch. There is no breakdown in communication, and delays are not seen. Instead of getting the logitech mx keys, I would recommend getting the logitech mx keys small because it offers more features for less money, including two different color options, backlit keys, the ability to switch between devices, finger recesses, and so on. In addition, I consider this keyboard to be an example of Apple's practice of pruning; as is their custom while developing new versions, they will add one new feature per year.

Pros
  • Easily portable, with a lengthy battery life and touch ID capabilities.
Cons
  • I do not recommend (see comment)
