As instructed, we measured 4" above the kneecap to determine the correct size knee brace and ordered size Large. We received the size Large knee braces and they were too tight for Mom so I returned the Large ones and ordered XL. The XL knee braces are PERFECT! She is very pleased with them. They really help with the pain of arthritis in her knees. They provide support but are not too tight and very comfortable for her. She is 86 years old and we don't want anything to constrict blood flow in her legs so these are perfect. And I will also add that these are so much more reasonably priced and better quality than any of the knee braces we've been able to find locally. Well worth the price and ebay's return process is a breeze so we were able to get the correct sized items in a couple days with our ebay Prime shipping. I just ordered and received another set to keep in stock in case we need them. Thank you Berter for an excellent product!
